South African Artist Pieter Hugo Collaborates on Bottega Campaign

What happens when fashion and art meet?

Pieter Hugo shot a video for Bottega Veneta’s advertising campaign as part of its Art of Collaboration series. Hugo is a South African photographer whose portraiture, domestic interiors, landscapes, and still lifes explore the complex and troubled relationship between races in his home country. His work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, J. Paul Getty Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, among others. See the video collaboration here.
