Queen Marina has done it again. The headline-making artist is collaborating with fashion brand Costume National for her performance at The Art of Elysium’s annual “Heaven” Gala.

For almost half a year, creative director Ennio Capasa and Abramović have been working together on clothing designs that will be used by attendees throughout the gala’s evening as part of an interactive experience, reports WWD. The longtime friends, who were introduced by actor Willem Dafoe, had been eager to work on a collaboration for some time.

Part performance, part fashion show, guests will also get a gander at the brand’s pre-fall collection, since models clad in Costume National will be part of the experience.

Italian brand Costume National’s deconstructed silhouettes and monotone color palette are fitting for Abramović’s oeuvre. “I was eagerly awaiting the right moment to work with Ennio and Costume National,” Abramović told WWD. “The genius of his aesthetic resides in his deep understanding of human forms and the flow of energy that fuels the creative process. Ennio and I do different things, but somehow we manage to connect with people in the same way.”
