Artspace to Offer Preview of NADA Art Fair for Its 2015 New York and Miami Editions

Inside NADA New York 2014.

NADA, the New Art Dealers Alliance, has signed on to a partnership with Artspace, the online art marketplace, to publicize the fourth edition of its art fair in New York as well as its upcoming Miami edition this December.

The deal aims to boost visibility for the mid-sized but burgeoning art fair, known for younger galleries that show fast-rising emerging artists. NADA will mark the 12th year for its Miami Beach edition this year, which is moving from the Deauville Beach Resort to the more central Fountainebleau hotel (see NADA Gets New Home in the Heart of Miami Beach and NADA Art Fair Is the Most Fun You’ll Have in Miami).

Artspace will offer an advance look at works available at the fair starting May 5, nine days before the public opening (see We’ve Got the NADA New York 2015 Exhibitor List).

This year visitors can expect 101 exhibitors from around the globe, from art capitals like London, Los Angeles, and New York, as well as from places like Kansas City, Guatemala City, Oslo, and Copenhagen.

Some galleries include M + B Los Angeles, Brooklyn’s The Journal Gallery (see Forget Chelsea—15 Brooklyn Galleries You Need to Know Now), New York’s The Hole, and Eleven Rivington.

Artspace was snatched up by Leon Black’s publishing business, Phaidon, in 2014 (see Artspace Sale Augurs Inevitable Shake-Out in Online Art Sales). Phaidon will also cover the fair.
