As Frieze week approaches we take a look at some of the numbers associated with the art. They’re certainly impressive, and illustrate why the fair has grown to be one of New York’s best.

Number of square feet in the tent: 250,000.

Number of Guinness World Records: 2 (for the largest single-unit marquee, and the largest temporary stage in the world).

Number of visitors last year: 40,000. (While its less than Frieze’s sister fair in London, which tallied 55,000 visitors, its still an impressive total, especially considering that the London edition benefits from the associated modern art fair Frieze Masters.)
