Art Basel has unveiled the lineup of exhibitors for its 49th annual edition in Switzerland, June 14–17, with the total up slightly to 293 galleries (compared to 291 last year), hailing from 35 countries across Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa.

Seventeen galleries are joining the fair for the first time this year, including White Space Beijing, Freedman Fitzpatrick (Los Angeles), Essex Street (New York), Hosfelt Gallery (San Francisco), and Franklin Parrasch Gallery (New York).

This year, Art Basel will introduce a new site for its “Unlimited” sector, which showcases ambitious projects that transcend the spatial possibilities of a standard booth: the upper floor of Hall 1. The section is being curated for the seventh time by Gianni Jetzer, curator-at-large at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC.

Meanwhile, “Statements” will again feature solo projects by emerging artists and “Feature” includes solo presentations, juxtapositions, and thematic exhibits.

Here is the complete lineup of the fair’s sections and their respective participants (first-time exhibitors are listed in bold).
